DACA tours were approached by a great group of riders, with a rough mud map of specific parts of the outback that they were dying to see aboard their motorbikes.
These guys had lived and worked in the region, however due to the remoteness and distances without access to fuel and supplies their dream was not achievable.
With custom mapping and logistics secured, the luxury of the DACA support truck and sweep vehicle stocked with all necessary supplies secured, they had access to their dream ride, and we left Perth Friday 7th June.
On this day the first big weather system for WA hit with all its force at 4am. We happily kissed it goodbye and rolled out with keen riders searching for blue skies.
We had planned an awesome route for the group using their mud maps, and prior knowledge of the area from our previous camping trips.
We explored over 1200km in the saddle, with every different type of terrain a rider could wish for.
The skies were blue and at a balmy temperature of 30 degrees, we rode river crossings, swam in springs, rode smooth pebbled river beds, navigated tight winding vegetated trails, to land successfully at rocky breakaway country with some wide-open desert dunes covered with spinifex that went on for days.
It was like riding through an Australian oil painting!
This trip is exactly why DACA tours started, we can provide a custom and epic adventure for you & your mates riding through these amazing/remote locations only accessible to a lucky few.
All you need is good old H20 on your back and a will for adventure, we take care of the rest.
