ITINERARY

DAY 1: CARNARVON – GASCOYNE JUNCTION

The outback coastal town of Carnarvon lies at the mouth of the Mighty Gascoyne River that flows seasonally into the Indian Ocean. It was founded in 1883, initially as a port for the transport of livestock. Today we are a group of riders following the mighty Gascoyne River inland anxious of the what we will discover, and what the Desert and it’s unique landscapes will provide for us.

DAY 2: CIRCUMNAVIGATE KENNEDY RANGES

Today we ride the ever changing terrain that makes up the perimeter of the Kennedy Ranges. This is a truely unique outback environment, with every terrain Western Australia has to offer. The Western edge is a series of natural springs and creek beds formed from millions of years of seasonal rains and the run off, with the East being a stark contrast with its 100m high towering cliff faces and canyons.

DAY 3: KENNEDY RANGES – NINGALOO COAST

We say goodbye to the Kennedy Ranges and ride through a maze of station tracks that twist and wind their way down the Gascoyne River system towards the famous “NINGALOO” coast. The never ending changing terrain makes our W.A. outback a riders dream, not to mention the mesmerising landscapes we encounter throughout the day. We finish our day where the red desert earth meets the torquise blue waters of the NINGALOO coast.

DAY 4: EXPLORE THE GNARALOO COAST

We ride two different worlds today with access to snaking, winding station tracks that weave their way across true Gascoyne Station country with some very unexpected hidden gems to discover. We head west to hit the coast with its cliffs and amazing hidden beaches that are begging to be swam. Our campsite sits overlooking the Indian Ocean with the sun setting on the western horizon. The sound of the ocean washing ashore will have you well slept and ready to ride for the next day of adventure.

DAY 5: GNARALOO – CORAL BAY

Today we ride the edge of West Australian coastline North through pastoral stations, experiencing an ever changing coastline of rocky headlands, dry river beds and hidden beaches and bays. The riding is everything you came to see and experience, with both tight twisting trails and open expansive tracks all with views of the coast. We finish the day on the ocean with a well deserved dip where we celebrate an epic five days of un-believable desert riding and good times.
